1. Accrediting organizations formerly but not currently recognized by the US Board of Education (USBOE).
2. Accrediting organizations recognized solely by the US Department of Education (USDE).
3. Members of the Global Higher Education Secretariat.
4. Degree-granting institutions accredited by a USDE-recognized accrediting organization but not eligible for USBOE membership.
5. Established organizations dedicated to supporting academic accreditation processes and the mission of the US Board of Education.
