The International Quality Assurance Network (IQAN) serves as the worldwide arm of the International Quality Assurance Alliance (IQAA), dedicated to enhancing excellence in higher education globally. As an extension of IQAA, IQAN convenes experts in higher education worldwide, united in their commitment to promoting and upholding international standards of quality assurance in higher education.
Comprising a diverse range of stakeholders, IQAN members include quality assurance agencies of post-secondary institutions recognized by governmental authorities, higher education associations, government agencies, higher education consultants, and individuals deeply invested in ensuring the quality of higher education. Together, these members collaborate to address global challenges in higher education quality, fostering continuous improvement and innovation in the sector.
Operating independently as part of IQAA, IQAN sets its own membership criteria outlined in IQAN documents. These criteria differ from those governing membership in IQAA-recognized accreditors, ensuring a transparent and impartial process for international membership in IQAN.
