The purpose of our Global Quality Assurance Initiative (GQAI) is to foster collaboration and research efforts aimed at enhancing quality assurance in higher education worldwide. GQAI serves as a platform for members to:
Conduct in-depth research and advance understanding of international quality assurance standards and practices.
Support institutions and accreditation/quality assurance organizations in their efforts to engage internationally.
Advocate for the development of policies that bolster academic quality in global higher education.
Provide a platform for discussions and knowledge-sharing on international quality assurance practices.
Identify and analyze critical international quality policy issues.
Offer research and advisory services to institutions, accreditation bodies, governments, and other stakeholders, both domestically and internationally.
Collaborate with various U.S. and international entities to address emerging challenges, opportunities, and concerns in global quality assurance.
